During the conference organized by the Nigerien section of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema on the theme of “ African Islamic heritage in Niger Between the Past, Present and Future Prospects”, on 17 and 18 Dhu Al Qi’ada 1440 H, corresponding to 20 and 21 July 2019,  in Niamey,  Professor Sakina Maman, Member at the Nigerien section of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema,  highlignted the Future of African Islamic Heritage in Niger.

Professor Sakina formulated a strategic plan that aims to preserve and protect the Islamic heritage in general and in Niger in particular, and exposed the obstacles and difficulties that hinder Islam and its heritage in the shadow of globalization by making a few suggestions  to overcome the actual situation. Moreover, she introduced the Islamic culture in the Republic of Niger, and stated the role of Quranic schools to revive the Nigerien Islamic Heritage and preserve it.
