Imam Omar Kobine Layama moved to the mercy of Allah
Imam Omar Kobine Layama, member of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema and President of the Supreme Islamic Council in the Central African Republic, moved to the mercy of Allah on Saturday, Rabi` al-Akhir 12th, 1442, corresponding to November 28th, 2020 in the capital, Bangui, at the age of 63 years.
Imam Kobine was known for his involvement in associative and charitable activities, in addition to his contribution in the consolidation of peace and coexistence in the Central African Republic since the beginning of the crisis at the end of 2012.
On this painful occasion, the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema extends its deepest and sincere condolences to his family, the members of the Foundation, the brotherly center African people, and all Muslims in general.
May Allah rest his soul in peace and Be Merciful to him.
