Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, has sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family members of late Cheikh Boikary Fofana, Head of the Supreme Council of Imams of Côte d’Ivoire and president of the local branch of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema.

In this message, the Sovereign said he was deeply saddened by the news of the death of His eminence Sheikh Boikary Fofana, while expressing his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the family members of the deceased, his disciples and his scientific community in Côte d’Ivoire and within the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema.

HM the King recalled the sincere marks of affection, loyalty and esteem that the deceased showed during his lifetime towards his second country, Morocco, as well as his skills as an eminent theologian, “which he used wisely to contribute to the strengthening of the fundamental values ​​of our religion.”
