HM the King Performs Friday Prayer in Attadamoun Mosque in Bissau
HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, performed the Friday prayer on May 29th, 2015 in the “Attadamoun Mosque” in Bissau, in Guinea-Bissau, Cipriano Cassama.
In his sermon, the Imam said that among the benefits which the Almighty blessed the believers is their ability to unite and to consolidate their ranks and to achieve a degree of understanding between them, adding that the Holy Islamic religion, in its magnanimity and tolerance calls the faithful to mutual support, good deeds and devotion and advises them against evil and aggression.
Following the Friday prayer, HM the King donated 10,000 copies of the Holy Quran to the parties in charge of the management of religious affairs in Senegal. The Quran copies are published by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Edition of the Holy Quran and are meant to be distributed in Senegal’s mosques.
This batch of Quran copies, based on Warsh version from Nafi as adopted by Morocco and these countries, is offered in accordance with the royal instructions to meet the needs of mosques in western African countries.
