The Marrakech Declaration on the Rights of Religious Minorities in the Muslim World
Speakers highlighted in the Marrakesh Declaration, read by Mr. Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Vice-President of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema, on Wednesday 16 Rabi’ II 1437 (January 27th, 2016) the need to establish a wide social current for religious minorities in the Muslim countries and promote public awareness about their rights. These speakers have also asserted the duty to collaborate on the intellectual, cultural, educational and media levels to create a fertile ground for the development of this current and not to use religion to justify any abuse of the rights of religious minorities in Islamic countries.
