The Role of Maliki’s Jurisprudence Heritage in the Past, Present and Future in Achieving Unity Between the North and South of the Continent
During the conference organized by the Nigerien section of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema on the theme of “ African Islamic heritage in Niger Between the Past, Present and Future Prospects”, on 17 and 18 Dhu Al Qi’ada 1440 H, corresponding to 20 and 21 July 2019, in Niamey, Dr. Mohamed Alamine Abdoul Mouheymine, Member of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema & Lecturer at Haj Mohammed Al Akt University in Niger, highlignted the role of Maliki’s jurisprudence heritage in the past, present and future in achieving unity between the north and south of the continent by defining the Maliki doctrine and introducing its characteristics.
Furthermore, Doctor Mouheymine mentionned the reason of choosing the Maliki doctrine by Africans, and emphasized the role of the Maliki’s jurisprudence heritage in achieving unity between the north and west of the African continent and the mans employed to achieve the communication within that continent.
